Featuring:...BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD COIN CABINET COIN CABINETS During the 1970's we introduced new products for the discriminating coin collector. We began by designing and constructing small hand-crafted coin cabinets made of fine imported Mahogany and Brazilian Rosewood. Several styles and custom designs are possible. Based on availability of materials used and detailing, the price is available upon request. Smaller coin cabinet example are shown here >> Q In later years the demand arose for larger and more ornate cabinets and we met this challenge by first sitting once again at the drawing board. We then designed several cabinets in a variety of solid woods and fine grained veneers. This example shown below was made by utilizing imported Brazilian Rosewood veneer and applying it in a chevron pattern. The added detailing was achieved by the application of inlayed Ebony, Walnut and dyed Birch veneers. A brass gallery on top holds in place a polished slab of imported Verdacchio Green Italian marble. This large coin cabinet is fitted with one deep drawer where one can store a great number of coin items; the shallow drawers have been individually router and the felt lined round slots hold the coin collection in place. The double door front is fitted with a lock and key. As an added feature the four legged base can be removed thus transforming this floor coin cabinet model into a table top chest. Please note: All our coin cabinets (large and small) are only available by special order. Prices will fluctuate depending on the material or availability of material used, design and pattern details. Additional information is available upon request. *Below ~ Pictures of our latest coin cabinet design. This cabinet is available: #038furn - Rosewood coin cabinet. Designed and hand crafted at our studio, this unique coin cabinet will accept small coins to as large as U.S. silver dollar. It is ideal to store from a beginning to a large coin collection. We can also design smaller cabinets or similar in size to meet your needs. Please contact us for additional details or information.

| Details: Our brazilian rosewood coin cabinet is designed to be used as a floor or table top model. The basic cabinet is constructed with modern materials while giving the Old World's hand crafted attention as seen in the application of inlayed Brazilian Rosewood marquetry. The top drawer has ample room to store a magnifying glass, envelopes, etc.. All coin drawers have individual felt lined recessed spaces to hold the coin collection. I have incorporated in this design a brass gallery around the top which holds in place a slab of Verdacchio Green Italian marble. I have also added a personal touch by designing it with antique brass handles at each side for easy transport. The cabinet has the option to be transformed into a table top model by simply removing the high legs and replace them with four round wooden pommel feet. When not in use, the cabinet can be securely locked! Now available for delivery: |
