•All Bassons items shown on Table 1 are in excellent conditions.

•001col- This smoking pipe was hand carved at the studio. As a smoke cooling feature I had drilled one hole in the mouth and two in the nose; logically these same openings emitted smoke when the user closed the top and gently pushed air down the stem. It was the cooool thing to do back in the 60's when hanging around the Village in N. Y. City. This one is a SAMPLE but I can still carve another if you supply "a basic" pipe blank. Let me know!

•004col- SAMPLE Hand carved leather- "Pheasants flush in a corn field" by Giovanni- Entered in the 1964 N. Y. State Tandy Leather Carvers competition. This was my first leather carved pictorial and to my astonishment it was awarded 10th place. In the same competation works by Al Stolman - who wrote instruction books on leather carving - was also competing.
