V.I.P. ACCIDENTAL Photographers We have created a new page within the photography section devoted to your "Accidental Pictures. These are pictures, "that just happen," during the course of your busy day and later shared with our readers. We have aready received a few very good examples, but we will need more. Please, just snap a picture or two with your cell phone and send it to us. See the pictures, read more details here! Wait for Tomorrow A timeless story about love, romance and a convertible car by Kershaw Burbank. It has at last been published for the first time on the Internet in the Embroiled News. If you still recall the years of your youth, this is a story you don't want to miss. You can read it in its integrity in the Creative Writing section. Sarita's poems recently posted Poems, "The Hawks," (March 1995); "Spellbinder" (June1995) received stellar reviews by the readers of the Embroiled News. Sarita was one of our most prolific poet and contributor. Her poems have the quality of strength, assurance and kindness. Her swift legato prose leaves the reader without any doubts as to what she wants to convey. Read both poems now! |
Nature Is Falling During a recent trip near Black Rock Glacier, Alaska, Giovanni wrote his thoughts in both prose and recorded observations with photographs. One is immediately aware how Global warming is clearly evident in this region of our planet; see the pictures, read his poem here. The Brave Little Spider A delightful illustrated children story about a creature we have come to vilify in endless tales and misconceptions. Spiders as we all should know, are as beneficial in the realm of Mother Nature as cows, eagles and, human beings. We all have our part to play if we want this planet named Earth, to survive. As you will see, our little hero did make the difference and saved his community from destruction. This short tale was written by Giovanni for young readers and for all of us, who still have a spark of just fairness and remain young at heart. Read and see all the illustrations here! The Memorial This is an assay by military decorated Col. Gib Gibson, Army Ret.. He pointedly takes the reader through a maze of historical reality while reminding us of our past failed international affairs. From this writer who has seen his share of combat, this can be an eye opener for many readers who receive their sense of the world at large from radio and TV's sound bites. Col. Gibson wrote it for you here! |

"The great remedy for anger is delay." ~ Lucius Annaeus Seneca c. 4 BCE – ACE 65 ~ Roman Stoic philosopher, statesman, dramatist; tutor and later advisor to the roman emperor Nero. He was later executed by that emperor as an accomplice in the Pisonian conspiracy to assassinate this last of the Julio-Claudian emperors; all indications however, seem to point that he may have been innocent. ~Insert: Ancient marble bust of Seneca, part of a double herm (Antikensammlung Berlin) |
