It's often said that, "A picture is worth 1000 words." Any picture or photograph, is also like a fine painting that can be a very personal work of art. Without a doubt a family photo heirloom is a recorded moment in time meant to be shared with future generations. Time and neglect, however, coupled with unexpected accidents take a great toll at these historical objects to the point that often, we are no longer able to see the once cherished images.

At Giovanni's Studio we have saved from oblivion many photographs that would have other wise been discarded. For your viewing we have assembled in our digital ‘Photo Sample Album’ a small sampling from among our many photo restoration projects. Upon seeing our presentation, and if you own any damaged photographs, please consider letting us restoring them. The picture taken of the damaged 1840s Daguerreotype (A) was later restored and and reset (B) into the original frame.	The above 1948 picture (A) of a child was damaged by hungry silver fish. The picture in the (B) sample was fully restored and digitalized.

This 1932 photograph damage was restored and the gray balence replaced where it had faded. Multiple digital printings were made for distribution.	Originally taken in 1957, this photo was enlarged, the damage repaired and colorized while using the color skeeame as instructed by the client.
